This is an On-Call Freelance Installation position with clients in private collections, professional artists, private fitness and pilates clubs, as well as residential appliance installations and home repair.

Specializing in the careful handling, packing, and installation of artwork, with the occasional canvas stretching and artwork conservation. Former maintenance tech for 900 Broadway New York suit 202,400, 603. Averaging 25 hours a week working evenings and nights with the occasional weekend and holiday depending on client needs.

Fine Art Specialist June 2023 - July 2024

Art Crating Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California

As a Fine Art Specialist, I led installation teams for both commercial and residential projects, providing artwork transportation with 18-26 foot box trucks across the greater Los Angeles area while adhering to proper wrapping, loading, and strapping techniques. My knowledge of artwork materials allowed me to select appropriate archival and packing materials based on factors such as medium, surfaces, condition, and fragility. I had proficiency in various packing techniques, including travel frames, shadow boxes, slipcases, and standard crating methods.

Additionally, I conducted site visits, inspected artwork, provided condition notes, and job estimates for potential and recurring clients. Collaboration with the warehouse, crating, and shipping departments was essential to ensure seamless project execution. Furthermore, I play a role in helping manage inventory within our 30,000 sq ft warehouse.

Inspections Coordinator April 2022 - June 2023

Pace Gallery, Manhattan, New York

In my capacity as the key point person for the Registrar team at the flagship warehouse, I was responsible for strategically positioning all gallery inventory to optimize operational efficiency and cost management. This included closely monitoring inventory and insurance variances and providing regular updates to the Art Resources Senior Director. Additionally, I oversaw material orders, and supported the annual audit process with the Registrar team.

Some of my key duties involved obtaining information on incoming inventory, helping with conducting thorough condition inspections, and preparing detailed reports on artwork condition and packing descriptions. I coordinated inspection timelines across operational teams and worked closely with Shipping, Sales, Art Fairs, and Registrar staff to ensure the safe transit and storage of artworks. I also oversaw large-scale inspection projects, monitored shipments, and actively participated in daily meetings to advise on workflow optimization.

Art Handler/Truck Driver Aug 2021-April 2022
